Vans Shoulder Bag Event Display & Skateboard Theme Installation Art

For this school project, I was given the task of designing a Bag launching Event. The project involved designing and planning an event that would effectively showcase the new product to potential customers and create a buzz around the brand.

My goal is to create a dynamic and immersive event display for Vans' shoulder bag collection, seamlessly blending functionality with artistic expression. Inspired by the energetic spirit of skateboarding culture, I aim to craft an installation that not only showcases the versatile Vans shoulder bags but also transports attendees into the vibrant world of skateboarding.

The installation art will feature life-sized skateboard ramps and ramps integrated with the shoulder bag display, creating an engaging and interactive environment. A graffiti-style mural backdrop will encapsulate the rebellious and urban essence of skateboarding, complemented by strategically placed neon lighting to enhance the overall visual impact.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the functionality of Vans shoulder bags firsthand, with designated areas allowing them to test the bags' durability and versatility while navigating the skate-inspired installation. The layout will encourage a flow that mimics the fluid movements of skateboarders, providing an authentic connection between the product and the lifestyle it represents.

To further enhance the immersive experience, curated soundscapes echoing the rhythm of skateboard wheels on concrete and the buzz of an active skate park will accompany the installation. Additionally, interactive elements such as skateboard customization stations and live demonstrations by skilled skateboarders will captivate the audience, fostering a deeper connection to the Vans brand.

This project aims to create not just a display but an unforgettable journey into the heart of skateboarding, showcasing Vans' shoulder bags as essential accessories for those who embrace the thrill of the skate culture.
